CONSTRUCTION CLEAN-UP

CONSTRUCTION CLEAN-UP

Construction Cleanup is a thorough cleaning process to remove dust and construction-related residues after a renovation or construction project. Here are some specific tasks typically involved in construction cleaup for a home:

  1. Dusting and wiping surfaces: All surfaces, including walls, ceilings, baseboards, and fixtures, need to be dusted and wiped to remove settled dust and construction residues. This may involve using microfiber cloths, dusters, or vacuum attachments to ensure a thorough clean.
  2. Window and glass cleaning: Windows, glass doors, and mirrors can accumulate dirt, smudges, and minor paint splatters during construction. They should be cleaned using appropriate glass cleaners and should only be scraped by trained technicians to prevent scratching of the glass.
  3. Floor cleaning: Different types of flooring require specific cleaning methods. Carpets may need to be vacuumed to remove dust and debris, while hard floors may require sweeping, mopping, or even deep cleaning depending on the material. Tile surfaces may need specialty cleaning to remove any residue from construction materials.
  4. Fixtures and appliance cleaning: Clean and polish fixtures such as sinks, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, and showers. Appliances such as stoves, ovens, refrigerators, and dishwashers may need to be wiped down and cleaned both inside and out.
  5.  Cabinet and countertop cleaning: Clean the interior and exterior of cabinets, wiping away any dust or residue. Countertops need to be thoroughly cleaned and polished, paying attention to any seams or edges.
  6.  HVAC system cleaning: If the construction work affected the HVAC system, it's important to clean or replace the air filters and clear any dust or debris from vents and ducts to ensure proper air circulation and indoor air quality.
  7. Light fixture and switch cleaning: Dust and clean light fixtures, including chandeliers, ceiling fans, and wall-mounted fixtures. Switches and outlet covers are cleaned as well.
  8. Final inspection: Once the cleaning is complete, we conduct a thorough inspection to ensure that all areas have been properly cleaned and address any remaining issues or touch-ups as needed.

Please note that the extent and specific tasks involved in post-construction clean-up may vary based on the scale of the construction project.
